P1There is no account, so there is no profile to build

This desk has no sign-up, no login, no comment field and no newsletter. Nothing you type into a gauge is transmitted anywhere: every calculation in the gauge bench runs inside your browser from numbers you entered, and the page is a static file served from a content delivery network.

Because there is no account, there is also no way for this site to connect two visits to the same person, and no way for it to know that a visitor who read an entry about duty thresholds is the same visitor who later read one about parcel consolidation.

P2What the server sees when a page is requested

Any web request exposes standard transport data to whoever serves it: the IP address the request came from, the time, the requested path, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. That data is processed by the hosting provider for delivery, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic counts.

This site does not use that data to identify individuals, does not join it to any other dataset, and does not sell or share it. Aggregate counts may be summarised in a public note about which entries are read most, but only as totals, never as a list of visitors.

P3Local storage: one key, and you can clear it

If a gauge remembers the figures you typed after you leave the page, they are held in your own browser storage under a single key scoped to this domain. That value never leaves your device. Clearing site data for this domain removes it, and the gauges fall back to their published defaults the next time you open them.

The desk deliberately does not store a visitor identifier, a session token or a cross-site identifier in browser storage, because it has nothing to match such an identifier against.

P4Outbound links carry one parameter and nothing else

Links that leave this desk for kabosheet.com are plain hyperlinks opened in a new tab. They carry a single short parameter identifying this domain as the referring desk, which is how the destination attributes a visit. They do not carry your name, your order number, your email address or anything you typed into a gauge on this site.

Those links are marked as commercial in the HTML itself. That marking is visible to search engines and to anyone reading the page source; it is not a hidden attribute and it does not change what you see on the page.

P5Third parties that unavoidably see the request

The site is served through a global content network, so the network operator processes the request as a delivery provider. Fonts are not fetched from any font service: the whole site uses font stacks already present on your device, so no request is made to a third-party font host.

No analytics script, advertising tag, social embed, chat widget or heat-map recorder is installed. If that ever changes, this clause will be rewritten before the script is deployed, not after.

P6Corrections you send are kept as evidence, not as marketing data

If you send a correction through the address on the corrections page, the message and whatever you choose to include in it are kept so that the change can be traced back to a source. That is the only reason it is retained.

Ask for the message to be deleted after the correction has been applied and it will be removed, unless the same message is the only surviving evidence for a figure that is still published on the desk.

P7Children, and visitors outside the operating country

The desk is written for adults handling their own parcels. It does not knowingly collect anything from anyone under the age of sixteen, and because it collects nothing at all in the ordinary course of browsing, there is no separate children’s data path to describe.

Visitors from any country receive the same static pages. There is no regional variant that stores more or less than another, and no attempt is made to infer your location from anything other than the ordinary network data described in clause P2.

P8How to exercise a right over data held about you

Write to the corrections address with the subject line "data request" and state what you want: a copy of anything held, deletion of a message you sent, or an explanation of why something is retained. A reply will state what was found, including the answer that nothing was found.

Where a request conflicts with the need to keep a correction traceable, the desk will say so explicitly and explain what would be lost by deleting it, rather than quietly refusing.

P9Changes to this notice

This notice is re-read whenever the site changes in a way that touches data handling. The version in force is the one shown here with its review date of September 30, 2026. Previous wordings are not kept online, but a change that reduces what you are told will be described on the corrections page rather than made silently.
